The 2021 ArkLaTex Honors Awards Committee

The AHAs (ArkLaTex Honors Awards) is an enterprise instituted by an educator that highlights/celebrates regional talents, lifelong service/efforts, area businesses, educators, community leaders, entrepreneurs, culture influencers, and creatives alike. Since its inception, the AHA enterprise has consistently aimed to lend its light to the development of the community in which we live and serve. As Chairman/CEO, Brandon Wilkins fervently believes in the words of Robert Ingersoll, "For we rise by lifting others". He also believes, "Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others", Booker T. Washington. He operates with these two powerful thoughts leading the way and allows them to permeate every action taken through this endeavor.

To effectively recognize and celebrate as many people as possible through this endeavor, a committee of entertainment & education professionals, assembled. Each committee member is a part of the greater Texarkana community and contributes to the region's education & budding arts/entertainment industry. The committee’s main objective is to oversee the highlighting of the businesses, community leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, and culture influencers while acknowledging their contributions to the development of the ArkLaTex region.
